CBHA has been selected to serve as the pass-through entity for the Illinois Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program funding for behavioral health. As part of this work, we will be hosting two virtual listening sessions for all interested behavioral health providers and stakeholders to gather input on the upcoming funding opportunities under the Rural Health Transformation Program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Please see the attached flyer for additional information on the listening sessions, as well as the PowerPoint presentation shared by HFS, which provides an overview of Illinois’ Rural Health Transformation Program. We kindly ask that you share this invitation broadly with behavioral health providers, stakeholders, and your professional networks across Illinois.

These funding opportunities will be open to all Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs), Behavioral Health Clinics (BHCs), Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), and Substance Use Treatment Centers that meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs). The NOFOs are anticipated to be released in early September.

Each 60-minute virtual listening session will focus on one of the two RHT Program funding opportunities – Community Care Infrastructure/Integrated Care and Mobile Health including Mobile Crisis Response.

Registration links are included below:

During each session, participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations that will help inform the development of the NOFOs.

We encourage all interested providers and stakeholders to participate and share their perspectives.
