Dear Community Day Services (CDS) Providers:
The Division understands the continued COVID-19 pandemic and significant uptick of cases over the holidays has impacted our CDS providers. As a result, the Division intends to extend the 15% temporary increase, on top of the new CDS rates, from February 1, 2022 until March 31, 2022. We are hopeful this will help stabilize your operations as we continue see more individuals return to CDS. The Division does not anticipate any further extensions to the 15% increase. HBS participants will need to adjust their service agreements.
Current CDS rates:
Community Day Services – On-Site (31U): $14.33 Community Day Services – Off-Site (31C): $15.96
Temporary CDS rates through March 31, 2022:
Community Day Services – On-Site (31U): $16.48 Community Day Services – Off-Site (31C): $18.35
Also, as a reminder, day service billing for individuals living in our State Operated Developmental Centers will go to hourly billing effective April 1, 2022. Tiffany Bailey, Deputy Director of SODC Operations is in the process of sharing further details with our current providers. In addition, if your CDS is interested in serving SODC residents, or if you have questions or inquiries about day services for SODC residents, please reach out to Tiffany Bailey at Tiffany.Bailey@illinois.gov.
We appreciate our CDS providers and hope this extension will help during this challenging time. Warmly,
Director, Division of Developmental Disabilities
