On Oct. 16, CMS posted the Notice of Funding Opportunity for Innovation in Behavioral Health (IBH) Model for Cohort II. The model is designed to promote integrated care and value-based payment models in behavioral health settings. CMS plans to select up to five state Medicaid agencies to participate. Its two-year pre-implementation period begins January 2027, and five-year implementation period begins January 2029. Each recipient can receive up to $7.5 million over the course of the seven-year performance period. |
