I have now been here at the Division for just over a month. It has been a whirlwind of meeting Division staff, individuals and families receiving services, and providers, touring SODCs, and learning about all the great work being done within the Division. Thank you for the welcome I have received since I arrived. I look forward to meeting many more of you through the stakeholder meetings I have on my schedule in the coming weeks and months. There is much to be done and I look forward to working with all of you to continue to improve the continuum of care provided to and for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across this State. Please do not hesitate to contact me or the Division with any questions or comments. We are here to partner with you in this critically important work.

IDHS Division of Developmental Disabilities

As stakeholders are aware, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) will be issuing a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) this fiscal year for the Independent Service Coordination (ISC) program. Ahead of the release of the NOFO, DDD is hosting four (4) feedback sessions including two (2) for providers and two (2) for families so that the most relevant topics for each group can be discussed in each unique session. The purpose of the sessions is to allow stakeholders to share thoughts on the ISC grant program to help DDD make it the best program possible. Please see below for the 4 feedback sessions and to which group each session is aimed. If you have any questions, please contact DDD at DHS.DDDComments@illinois.gov.
